Mazda Connect Firmware Update v70.00.100 EU (Europe/UK/Israel, 2014-2021)

ATTENTION!!!!

This is the required intermediate firmware version 70.00.100 for updating from earlier versions (56.00.xxx and 59.00.xxx) to versions 70.00.3xx and 74.00.4xx. This is a recommended step according to Mazda’s official firmware update instructions. Last firmware with failsafe file. Next updates comes without failsafe file.

If you don’t know what is Mazda connect and Mazda connect 2 – this firmware is only for cars with a main menu on the screen that looks exactly like the one in the photo above.

  56.00.000 EU (Europe/UK/Israel) LIKE 31.00.100 or 41.00.000, THEN YOU MUST UPDATE with Version Number 70.00.100A First!.
  THIS IS A TWO (2) FILE INSTALLATION FOR YOUR REGION or COUNTRY.70.00.100A-FAILSAFE.UP (First)
  Then next Install (one after the other do not remove the USB Flash Drive).
  70.00.100A-REINSTALL.UP (Last).You DO NOT NEED TO Use the Intermediate Firmware of 70.00.100A if your CURRENT Version is 56.00.100 or anything NEWER, such as 56.00.200, 56.00.650, 58.00.240, 59.00.100, 59.00.342A or 70.00.021 -> You go straight to 74.00.324A, and choose your right file according to your region.THIS IS THE LATEST GENUINE FIRMWARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

Bug Fixes:

The following symptoms can be improved by the latest software (Ver. 70.00.100). Improved symptoms depend on current software versions.

• In the CMU update package, the latest Gracenote® database has been included.
• The brand icon on CarPlay screen has been updated.
• Font and location of texts like i-stop, i-ELOOP and average data on Fuel Economy Monitor screen have been improved.
• When using SiriusXM Travel Link, block letters of direction are greyed out on the Fuel Prices and Parking screens.
• On the Home screen, white stains appear in the status bar.

• IMPORTANT: This update covers original Mazda systems only. We are not liable for malfunctions in aftermarket accessories (Navigation SD cards, cameras, etc.) installed by local importers. Please consult your local installer for issues related to non-genuine components. For a smooth installation, we recommend disconnecting all devices from USB ports and removing the Navigation SD card during the update process. you can insert it back ONLY after update procedure is complete.
