✅ Upgrade Path – Read Carefully
If your Mazda is running firmware v30.00.000 or BELOW (e.g., 23.00.000, 25.00.150, 28.00.300, 29.00.100C), you MUST install this version (31.00.100A) FIRST before upgrading to newer versions like v70 or v74.

📥 Installation Requirements

USB Drive: 4GB to 16GB (Strictly FAT32 formatted). Do not use drives larger than 16GB.

🛠️ Installation Instructions
Step 1: Preparation

Format your USB stick to FAT32.

Copy both .up files directly to the root directory (do not place in folders).

Crucial: Disconnect all USB devices and remove the Navigation SD card before starting. Re-insert only after the update is finished.
Step 2: Enter Diagnostic Mode

Turn vehicle to ACC or ON mode.

Press and hold: Music Note + Favorites + Mute (Volume) for about 5 seconds.

Navigate to: Version Information > Connected Device > CMU to verify your current version.
Step 3: Update Process

Select System Update > Search for Update.

Detect the files on your USB and follow the sequence: Install Failsafe first, then Reinstall.

Warning: Do not power off the car or remove the USB until the “Update Successful” message appears.
